Tabz at the PJ Haarsma book signing at Barnes & Noble on April 18, 2009. Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk were there to show support for PJ and Kids Need to Read.

If you haven’t yet picked the Softwire series by PJ Haarsma, check it out. Or if you have a reluctant reader in the pre-teen to teen age range.

It was great to get books and Firefly items signed by the guys and nice to know a part of the proceeds went for such a great cause!

What you may not know is that in 2006 Adrienne Shelly was tragically murdered. The Adrienne Shelly Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated in loving memory to Adrienne. The purpose of the foundation is to help young women pursue their filmmaking dreams, and to assist others in making the same leap from acting to writing and directing as Adrienne had done so successfully.

From now until April 16, 2009 you can bid on amazing, one-of-a-kind experiences (VIP Tickets, memorabilia and such) including a lunch with Nathan Fillion himself or autographed (by the entire cast) copies of the Bones DVDs.
