Tabz and Kim return and talk about comics (including the Guild, Terminator and Angel). Congrats to Felicia Day & Sean Becker for winning awards at the Streamys! Tabz inserts Doctor Who love, but Kim brings them back to topic – including Glee! The gals squee and discuss NPH and Joss’ upcoming episode (coming May 18th). Tabz predicts Heidi will appear, and then she did! The Liane stumps us with a V trivia question. Then Kim and Tabz return to discuss V, with help from some LJ friends. Tabz also alienates all of the Joss’d fans (ha, alien.. see what we did there). Larissa shares another Whedonverse Question! Tabz and Kim also discuss the question. Tabz makes a plea for everyone to watch Chuck when it comes back in May. Then they introduce the fan song, “Twixt My Nethers” by the uber talented Tally. Of course, Liane gives the answer to her trivia and then the awesome “Twixt My Nethers” song.

How do you feel about the Xander/Anya relationship? In Doublemeat Palace, did Halfrek have a point about the way Xander treated Anya? Do you think that if Xander had gone through with the wedding, he and Anya would have had a happy marriage? If Anya had lived (*sob*), do you think they’d have gotten back together?

My sister and I got into a pretty heated discussion about them earlier (short story – she loves them, I don’t [that is, I adore both characters, particularly Anya, but I don't like them as a couple]) and I’d like to find out how other fans feel.

Join Tabz, Kim, and Heidi celebrate that we’ve passed 50 episodes! And they also rejoice that Felicia Day has a SyFy miniseries coming soon! Tabz corrects herself, but once again she’s now outdated – Castle HAS been renewed (as of yesterday). Preorder the next Castle Book! Liane brings trivia from Chaos Bleeds, of the sweet kind! Heidi looks at Ethan Rayne (our favorite British bad guy). Then Heidi, Kim and Tabz discuss Chaos Bleeds Playstation 2 Game (also Xbox and GameCube). We start a new segment, Whedonverse Questions, with Larissa! We end the episode with some little fandom news and, of course, the answer to Liane’s trivia.

Tabz, Kim and Andrew discuss what TV shows will be picked up for the fall and what are likely to not be renewed (sorry guys!). Zack Whedon gets a shout out for being the best writer in the world and how we’re changing the name to Zack’d. Tabz explains why she loves House, MD and Andrew warns against fan-girl-ism. Liane gives us another Guild question to puzzle over. Heidi gives a character sketch of Zaboo (The Guild). We have another panel recording from Farpoint Convention, Felicia Day had just had lunch with a guy who bid $5000 for the lunch with Felicia in the charity auction. Felicia discusses her knitting, Buffy, motorcycles and accents. Kim, Andrew and Tabz finish up the episode discussing more TV shows are up for renewal next fall (or not). Tabz and Kim geek out about Supernatural and why you should be watching. We also present the most awesome Gmail feature we wish we had:

Tabz and Kim discuss short people and how Hollywood is fake (it’s all related we promise). Dollhouse discussion (we are about a week behind.. hence the talk about there being episodes in December). Joss is online more! Tabz is happy that Joss loves Tinkerbell movie. We discuss Buffy alumns on Castle and why we love This American Life. The news girls sound almost sweet and normal (for a good 15 seconds). Don’t worry, it doesn’t last. But they do make some great New Year’s Resolutions! Liane has some great Christmas-y trivia! Tabz and Kim discuss their Christmas wishes for Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dr. Horrible and Dollhouse. Heidi shares her character of the episode! If you missed Felicia Day on Lie to Me – you need to go see it now! Felicia sings! We’re very happy to say that Mark Shepard is going to be on an upcoming episode of Chuck (which returns on 1/10). Buffy repeats are going to be starting on LOGO and MTV in January (get your friends addicted). Alexis Denisioff has a reoccurring role on the new ABC Family show Pretty Little Liars. And Tabz and Kim let you know that Joss’d is gonna be on hiatus till February (so stay tuned)!

Joss’d Episode #044 – A Ritual Sacrifice with Pie!

In this episode Tabz and Kim comment on the sad news, but give you a lot of happy news to balance out the pain. Tabz mispronounces another Whedonverse actor’s name, Kim comments on which Whedonverse actor’s show she enjoys watching, and the show notes get vaguer by the minute. Kim and Tabz almost burst into song over Joss directing an episode of Glee (almost). We also discuss how Felicia Day must sign our Penny maquettes from QMx. Zack Whedon is writing, and we want hm to write more. Emma is trapped in a freezer with ex-trivia… uh, medicinal carrots… something. She reviews some fanfic (which was supposed to be Halloween times, but we were lame and didn’t come out with an episode then). Laura sings, Cliss demands they undo it, and mourn Dollhouse’s cancellation. There’s new Dr. Horrible merch (not just the QMx stuff), and turkeys. Laura and Cliss prove what happens when you don’t have a written outro (and it’s so not right). Erm. Happy Thanksgiving! Liane appears to help us all regain our sanity, since we just celebrated our 2nd podcast anniversary it’s complicated (okay not really). Kim and Tabz discuss Thanksgiving Whedon-y shows, including How I Met Your Mother, Buffy and Gilmore Girls! Heidi talks about Hus, the Chumash warrior from Pangs. Kim and Tabz give you some more fun Whedon tidbit-y news, including what Tabz thinks of V, when Chuck & Lost are coming back, why it’s fun to watch the actor’s twitter feeds, Jack the kitten joins the discussion and Happy Thanksgiving (again)!

Tabz and Kim spoil a bit of Castle awesomeness. Also the Whedonverse actors who’ve appeared on Lie to Me and apologize to all of you international viewers who can’t watch Hulu. The news girls discuss squirrels and bones (don’t ask). And they remind everyone there is no Dollhouse this week (Oct 16, 2009) for baseball. Heidi discusses our favorite man of the cloth – Shephard Book. Tabz and Kim turn into the news girls while discussing Halloween in the Whedonverse (and the extended Whedonverse) [send us candy]. Kim interviews Hayden about his new web series – The Occulters (which will feature the amazing James C. Leary and Camden Toy). Kim and Tabz return to discuss good news and bad news and everything inbetween. Cabin in the Woods delayed (but it’s a good thing) and Dollhouse needs your support (but it seems to be doing better). Tabz is back! She and Kim discuss Contropussy, how to find your favorite TV show’s date/time slot (sorry, US only) and why the US is moving towards international TV schedules. The news ladies are invaded by the little people (special thanks to Cliss’ nephew for appearing) and discuss Nathan Fillion. A lot. The news girls also discuss why you should buy your own set of Buffy DVDs and how you put together a great team of bad guys to help solve your problems. Liane puzzles us all with some great trivia about Leverage. Tabz and Kim return to talk about Fall TV shows (the Whedon related ones of course). Tabz makes a plea to keep intelligent drama on TV. Learn why Tabz can never say Marc Blucas and what show Tabz and Kim are dying to see. Heidi talks about our favorite dark slayer and friend Melissa tells us why Wicked would be great for Joss fans. Tabz and Kim come back to close out the episode and, apparently, polar bears. Kim talks about “High Plains Invaders” and why you should watch cheesy movies.
