Tabz and Kim discuss short people and how Hollywood is fake (it’s all related we promise). Dollhouse discussion (we are about a week behind.. hence the talk about there being episodes in December). Joss is online more! Tabz is happy that Joss loves Tinkerbell movie. We discuss Buffy alumns on Castle and why we love This American Life. The news girls sound almost sweet and normal (for a good 15 seconds). Don’t worry, it doesn’t last. But they do make some great New Year’s Resolutions! Liane has some great Christmas-y trivia! Tabz and Kim discuss their Christmas wishes for Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dr. Horrible and Dollhouse. Heidi shares her character of the episode! If you missed Felicia Day on Lie to Me – you need to go see it now! Felicia sings! We’re very happy to say that Mark Shepard is going to be on an upcoming episode of Chuck (which returns on 1/10). Buffy repeats are going to be starting on LOGO and MTV in January (get your friends addicted). Alexis Denisioff has a reoccurring role on the new ABC Family show Pretty Little Liars. And Tabz and Kim let you know that Joss’d is gonna be on hiatus till February (so stay tuned)!

In this episode Tabz and Kim comment on the sad news, but give you a lot of happy news to balance out the pain. Tabz mispronounces another Whedonverse actor’s name, Kim comments on which Whedonverse actor’s show she enjoys watching, and the show notes get vaguer by the minute. Kim and Tabz almost burst into song over Joss directing an episode of Glee (almost). We also discuss how Felicia Day must sign our Penny maquettes from QMx. Zack Whedon is writing, and we want hm to write more. Emma is trapped in a freezer with ex-trivia… uh, medicinal carrots… something. She reviews some fanfic (which was supposed to be Halloween times, but we were lame and didn’t come out with an episode then). Laura sings, Cliss demands they undo it, and mourn Dollhouse’s cancellation. There’s new Dr. Horrible merch (not just the QMx stuff), and turkeys. Laura and Cliss prove what happens when you don’t have a written outro (and it’s so not right). Erm. Happy Thanksgiving! Liane appears to help us all regain our sanity, since we just celebrated our 2nd podcast anniversary it’s complicated (okay not really). Kim and Tabz discuss Thanksgiving Whedon-y shows, including How I Met Your Mother, Buffy and Gilmore Girls! Heidi talks about Hus, the Chumash warrior from Pangs. Kim and Tabz give you some more fun Whedon tidbit-y news, including what Tabz thinks of V, when Chuck & Lost are coming back, why it’s fun to watch the actor’s twitter feeds, Jack the kitten joins the discussion and Happy Thanksgiving (again)!

and it just has a lot going for it. I for one am glad for more vamps on TV, especially a show that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I don’t think I could fit this into a “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Joss” segment.

But it isn’t just that this fills the void left by “True Blood”. It has a tight story, which varies from its source material, sure, but in my mind, it’s for the better. TV’s Elena is just an awesome young woman and I can see there’s plenty of drama still in store with Stefan and Damon. If you haven’t tuned in because of “Vampire Overload”, take a deep breath, and give this show a try.

Tabz and Kim spoil a bit of Castle awesomeness. Also the Whedonverse actors who’ve appeared on Lie to Me and apologize to all of you international viewers who can’t watch Hulu. The news girls discuss squirrels and bones (don’t ask). And they remind everyone there is no Dollhouse this week (Oct 16, 2009) for baseball. Heidi discusses our favorite man of the cloth – Shephard Book. Tabz and Kim turn into the news girls while discussing Halloween in the Whedonverse (and the extended Whedonverse) [send us candy].
